L-atitude and Project Paz Ciudad Juarez Youth Benefit

Art, fashion, music, tequila cocktails and delicious hors d?oeuvres from East Village Taqueria Hecho en Dumbo kicked off the Paz event last night joining dyed-in-the-wool enthusiasts of Mexico?s rich and vibrant culture and protectors of awareness, Project Paz. Last night?s Soho event hosted by Peter Davis, Eddie Borgo, Fernando Romero and Valerie Boster was a stimulating evening reminiscent of good times spent on Mexican pilgrimages; warm smiles, honest embrace, a loose, earthy attitude and plenty of spirit.

Art, fashion, music, tequila cocktails and delicious hors d?oeuvres from East Village Taqueria Hecho en Dumbo kicked off the  Project Paz event Monday night in Soho.

Showcasing nine one-off dresses and accessories created by New York?based designers Peter Som, Anna Sui, Thakoon, Juan Carlos Obando, Christian Cota, Michael Bastian, Yigal Azro?l, Rag and Bone and Phillip Lim, Sara Beltran, Eddie Borgo and Alegandro Ingelmo, plus original art in a silent auction, some serious funds were raised in support of Ciudad Ju?rez. The common thread? Each dress was cut from one of 10 bolts of traditional, hand-woven Mexican cloth, released by The Museao Regional de Oaxaca exclusively for Project Paz.
