Behind the Label | Piamita

Piamita was the brainchild of Cecilia de Sola and Karla Martinez who noticed a gap in the marketplace for lounge wear options that were as flattering as they were comfortable, while also looking sophisticated and polished. Recruiting their friend Luiza Leitao, whose background was in production, they decided to make their own and introduced their first collection in May 2011.

Rooted in the style of classic pajamas, this line of luxury louge wear was inspired bu the iconic images of the jet set on holiday and romantic ideals of escape that they evoke.

Borrowing shapes from conventional lingerie and sleepwear sets, Piamita tailored them to fit a sleeker approach that epitomizes refined ease. The Piamita woman is someone whose style is based on the classic but is simultaneously playful and unique.
