What is in your fashion week arsenal while in the spotlight?
New York designer Electric Feathers!!! Perfect for a voluptuous figure. And lipstick.
Lovely pregnant sketch by Lana Chun, wearing Electric Feathers
What was the ultimate pregnancy accessory?
My skin and hair!
What was your secret weapon for looking chic when pregnant?
Men?s shirts. JCrew makes an elongated tunic version which has become my go to. I think I collected a dozen during my pregnancy!
What items from L-atitude were key to a seamless transition to your new lifestyle as a fashionista mom?
Chic attack, when giving out business cards:
One for each of my new friends in San Fransisco:
From one of my favorite designers (who is also a friend), this PHILIP CRANGI CUFF is like Hermes for rebels:
I only wanted to wear rompers during my pregnancy:
You just relocated to San Francisco from New York. How has San Francisco become your Golden Gate?
The love of my life and my new family are here.
How will you integrate your dyed-in-the-wool East Coast taste with your new West Coast digs ?
Patagonia. I grew up in New Canaan, CT where it was all the rage. Fleece really crosses over.

What is your favorite thing to shop for that you can only score in the SF area?
Fresh produce! The East Coast has nothing on Cali. People are real nerds about sourcing their food out here, because the farms are incredible here. Plus, the dairy producers around Point Reyes (like Cow Girl Creamery) will knock your socks off.
As a Pregnant Foodie, what were your most memorable indulgences?
Memories indeed. Indulgences are largely off the menu when expecting. What I most missed: oysters, champagne, roquefort, foie gras, and uni. All consumed at my post-pregnancy bash!

The good news: I had the palette of a five year old. So, all of a sudden meal-fly-over-territory like pizza, hamburgers, spaghetti, fresh fruit and vegetables were heaven on Earth. I tossed back baby carrots like bon bons.
