1) Having been a muse for so many designers, how would you describe your own style? Please name the three staples of your wardrobe you could never live without.

I have a pretty laid back style. I was a tom boy growing up, but loved to play with clothes to express myself. As I have gotten older, I have become more feminine. I love wearing dresses, yet still also love a pants suit. I?m very eclectic, very boho, and very gypsy. I love a feminine and masculine mix, like motorcycle boots with lace.

I can?t live without a great pair of boots, a poncho, and cashmere scarf. I also love silk scarves and wraps. And definitely a great hat for bad hair days?a hat can pull together an ordinary look and give it a flair.

2) Having traveled all over the world for fashion shoots, what are some of the most memorable destinations you have been to and why?

Africa was one of my favorites. I went to Uganda and got to engage with the locals. I saw that even though they have so little in our eyes, they had such large spirits. This made me realize that it?s the simple things in life that make us happy.

Bali is another favorite location. The people there are very tuned into their spirits. Their daily rituals and offerings showed me the importance of connecting with something bigger than ourselves.

3) What is the favorite item you have purchased or been given while on a trip?

Definitely my Chanel pressed wool jacket?I lived in it for years, but sadly, have lost it since. They were so generous; they actually let me go in the store and pick whatever I want! It was a dream!

4) What is the biggest regret you have about not purchasing something you have wanted on your travels?

I definitely wish I would have shipped back a crate of furniture and furnishings from Bali. I always wanted a carved cow scull and regretted not getting one, but recently just did.

5) How would you describe your travel style? What are the three things you never leave home without?

When I travel, it?s all about comfy chic. I throw on leggings, riding boots, a cashmere sweater, and a poncho, which doubles as another blanket.

6) What is your ideal way to spend the holidays?

It?s all about family and friends. It doesn?t matter where you are?as long as you are with people you love, you?ll enjoy yourself. I like going sailing, diving, hiking, and rock climbing. I also love swimming in waterfalls!

7) What is your favorite travel location in the world?

Going on a safari in Africa is amazing?it?s such a wild experience! Costa Rica is beautiful as well?its gorgeous scenery is unmatched by any other locale I?ve visited.

8) What one place or several places are you dying to visit and why?

I?d love to go to Fiji?it just seems so far away from everything, tropical, and beautifully pure. I?d also love to go on a year-long sailing tour around the world? it would be an incredible adventure.

9) What three things from L-atitude are you coveting?
