The Year of the Horse
We caught up with Hong Kong style star Davena Mok and asked her to share her plans for CNY. As the Director of A-VIBE, a fashion-lifestyle PR-marketing-events agency, and mother of two she found time to share her best CNY stories. Read what she has to say and shop our favorite red products from around the globe! Happy Chinese New Year!

How will you celebrate Chinese New Year this year?
We?re staying in Hong Kong with our two kids, and seeing family and friends over the four-day holiday period.
Can you describe some of the best Chinese New Year celebrations you have attended?
I think the most amazing CNY celebration I?ve ever attended would have to be in 2010. We got married in Phuket on February 13, and the next day was the first day of the new lunar year ? Year of the Tiger, my sign! At midnight, we celebrated with our 130 guests with 1,000 firecrackers, a Chinese lion dance and a acrobatic-troupe performance.
What does Year of the Horse mean to you?
I?ve been told by many people that this year is very, very lucky for both me (Tiger) and my husband (Sheep). So I?m looking forward to a great year, and being always grateful for all the good things that come our way.
What are you planing to wear this year for Chinese New year?
I?ve got a mix of red items from Alice McCall, COS, Gap, MO&Co. and MSGM. I've kept the style simple and casual, as I?ll be with the kids over CNY break. Also, it wasn?t easy to find amazing clothes in red!
