How would you describe your style?
I like to play around. I mix colorful, feminine prints with timeless classics.
Who, what or where is the inspirational behind your style?
I'm heavily influenced by the city I'm in. The weather (obviously), the architecture and culture dictate my expression.
What do you love most about the city you live in? Can you share your top three favorite spots for eating, drinking and shopping?
At the moment I'm living between New York and Switzerland. New York is wonderful, there's always something going on. It's a city with endless possibilities!
In New York:
Eating: Dudleys, Omen, Lovely Day and The Odeon.
Drinks: Sophies Bar and the back patio at the Bowery Hotel
Shopping: Opening Ceremony, East Village Vintage Shops, and Karma Books
What is a typical [if there is such a thing] day like in your life on the road or at home?
Funny you ask, I've been reading a book called "Daily Rituals" (One I highly recommend). My new year?s resolution was inspired by it--a daily routine. I'm working on that now, haha!
Name your favorite shopping destinations anywhere in the world.
This summer I was in Thailand, the markets there were incredible... and affordable! And I adore Friulane in Venice: I go there for the beautiful velvet Venetian loafers only sold in two stores in the world, they're adorable and come in an array of colors. The Grand bazaar in Istanbul is great for one of a kind finds.
What is your favorite item you have been given while on a trip?
Before my trip to Thailand a dear friend gave me the book Nine Stories by Salinger, he told me to take time between each story to reflect on them so I read one story in each destination I visited.
Where do you like to shop while traveling?
Markets and Vintage shops rule.
Where is your favorite travel destination?
Tough to say, I've visited so many incredible places. If I had to choose I really enjoyed my time in Tokyo when I was seventeen. I've been meaning to go back to see the beautiful cherry blossoms bloom in April.
What is your dream destination?
Sri Lanka. I love exotic travel and find the whole experience to be grounding. I disconnect and immerse into the culture.
Describe the last exotic trip you took.
Thailand. I went all throughout Phuket, the surf beaches, and the surrounding islands accompanying my bff while she was there on a job. It was a spectacular trip and popped up out of the blue making it even nicer.
