Greek designer Konstantina Konstantinidi gave up a career in biology to follow her heart into the world of fashion and design. Inspired by travel, Konstantina?s statement necklaces and earrings are made from unique combinations of thread, leather, beads, and metal. How does travel inspire your collection?

Travel is my greatest inspiration. I love being able to see and experience different types of people, art, history, colors, food, and scents ? everything new inspires me.

Describe the Konstantina Konstantinidi brand in 3 words.

I can only choose only one word: dreamy. When it comes to clothes, most of my design inspiration comes to me in my sleep. As soon as I wake up I start cutting and sewing!

Who is your muse? Describe the woman who wears Konstantina Konstantinidi.

The woman who wears my brand can be of any age. I love women that embrace their own style and dare to be different.

What do you love most about the city you live in? Please name your top 3 spots for shopping, eating, and sleeping.

My home is located in the suburbs of Athens in the mountains. Some of the most beautiful beaches of Attica are only a 15 minute drive away! For shopping, I think that the center of Athens has a lot to offer. As for eating, I think I would choose only one place, and that would be near the sea! From a traditional tavern in Sounion Attica, to Oia in Santorini, and the "Palea Agora" in Naoussa Paros, these would be my top 3 destinations for eating.

What are your upcoming summer travel and/or vacation plans?

I will definitely visit an island -- my favorites are Milos and Santorini! India and Malaysia are two destinations that I'd also really love to visit this year.
