Art
French postwar painter Jean Dubuffet and acclaimed Spanish artist Miquel Barcel? present their unique work at Acquavella Galleries on the Upper East Side, on view until September 19. The exhibition features Barcel?'s most distinct paintings juxtaposed with Dubuffet's unconventional landscapes and portraits. Music
Coca-Cola Generations in Jazz Festival
Created in 2010, this festival's mission is to pass the future of jazz on to younger generations. Kicking off on Labor Day and lasting until September 30th at Dizzy's Club at Lincoln Center, jazz lovers can enjoy performances of music by legendary musicians like Duke Ellington and Loius Armstrong at this multi-generational meeting. This is also a gathering for celebrations in swing, where artists from as far as Brazil and Trinidad, and as close as New Orleans and Harlem, will join in on the fun.
Hotel
