Globetrotter Style: Annette & Phoebe Stephens

Growing up in Mexico City with a family of artists, sisters Phoebe and Annette Stephens were raised with an appreciation for unique beauty drawn from a multitude of inspirations. The design duo of Anndra Neen make it their priority each season to combine influences from their American education, travels to Europe and Asia, and Mexican heritage. With such a global perspective, the young design team is certainly one to turn to for their extensive knowledge of great finds in any destination. We recently caught up with these gorgeous ladies to chat about their travels and favorite shopping spots in NYC. Tell us about your travels from this summer -- your trips to St. Barths & Salina looked amazing!

We went to the wedding of our dear friends Nico and Daniel in Salina. It was our first time and we fell in love with the place. They had two long tables that were beautifully set up and the food was to die for.

We also went to St. Barth’s to celebrate a friend’s birthday. St. Barth’s is one of our favorite places in the world -- especially off-season. We stayed in Flamands in the cutest house on the beach. We went on hikes everyday and got lots of rest. It is so unfortunate that the hurricane devastated the island. We are hoping for a quick recovery.

What were your favorite things to do (shop/eat/drink etc) in St Barths?

We love Bijoux de la Mer, Montaigne Market, Carla St. Barths, Clic Boutique, the pharmacies of the island. Chez Rolande, The Eden Rock, L’Entracte, Le Tamarin.

What were your favorite things to do (shop/eat/drink etc) in Salina?

We had a wonderful meal at Hotel Signum. They also have the most gorgeous spa. The thing to do is rent a scooter and ride around the island. The beaches are spectacular.
