Can you share your top three spots for eating, drinking, and shopping

in Rio de Janeiro?
 
Dinner in Rio:  I usually go to Sushi Leblon (Japanese food with the best fresh fish), Fasano All Mare (the best carbonara pasta) and Alessandro e Frederico (the best pizza).

 
Cocktail in Rio: Bloody Mary at Fasano pool hotel; Lichia caipivodka from Sushi Leblon and beer from Bracarense (a traditional bar).
 

Shopping in Rio: Cassino Atl?ntico (the best antiques fair on Saturdays in Copacabana); Hippie Fair (on Sundays at General Osorio Square in Ipanema) and walking down the Garcia D??vila street in Ipanema. There you can find good restaurants, jewelry, home decoration stores and a Lenny Niemeyer store.

 

 
Favorite cultural site in Rio?
 
In terms of museums and places that make us breathe culture, Rio has many options where architecture and landscape become the biggest attraction.  The MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art designed by Oscar Niemeyer) is my favorite.  

 

 
 Favorite hotel that you wouldn't mind staying in forever?  
 
Uxu? in Trancoso, Bahia. It?s a quiet place, cozy, restful, is in front of the beach so you are always walking in the sand.

 

 

Always in your suitcase?

I always carry scarves and a great white shirt in my suitcase. I can?t live without them.

 

 

What is your secret to a great party?

A good party needs the right mix of guests, good music and cold drinks. When it?s a small party, the secret is to have guests who are interested in many subjects, enjoy socializing with everyone, and especially avoid gossiping.

 
What is your signature cocktail?
 
My drink is a gin and tonic. I prepare it with Hendricks, zimbo and cucumber.
 

What is your favorite cuisine to serve at a dinner party?
 
The dish I like to serve at home always consists of a type of pasta, a salad and a meat. I am in a phase where I like veal because it is a lighter type of red meat.
