Our fascination with Latin artisans spreads from Mexico to Latin American and all the way down through South America. The variety of embroidery and weaving traditions is endless, yet somehow connected through all of these different countries and cultures. Carolina Kleinman, the designer behind Carolina K has become the physical embodiment of this cross-cultural exchange. Born in Argentina, Carolina now works with artisan communities in Peru and Mexico to create her intricately crafted and vintage inspired collections. Working closely with artisans in these countries she also ensures fair trade practices are always enforced.We recently caught up with Carolina, to hear about her latest travel ventures, read below.
